Family Fun!

These two pictures of Jon and Jonathan on the skateboard were taken about two weeks ago. Jon used to be a skateboarder and he wants to teach Jonathan to skate. He figured while we were outside bbqing he would geet a head start on teaching him.

They were going so fast that Jonathan was screaming at the top of him lungs with his mouth wide open laughing his butt off! Im suprised both of them didn't get a bug in their throats with their mouths hanging open like that! When they got done Jonathan started running away from Jon and he tripped and got his first face plant on the concrete. he scrapped his chin a little bit and his hands were all scratched up. My poor baby! But he seemed fine, all he did was get right back up and said "UH OH, fell down?!"
This was this past weekend. It was so nice that Jon mowed our lawn and Jonathan wanted to help so he borrowed his cousin's lawn mower and helped his daddy!
These are just pictures of Jon goofing around on the tree in our backyard. He was getting the bird feeder down so he could fill it back up.

Kaitlyn Grace

How cute are these pictures of Kaitlyn!?! She's all decked out in leopard print, her mommy's favorite pattern. I love how she is puckering up her lips, just like Nikki does! She's gorgeous Nikki!!! The one of her with her eyes closed is my favorite.

She's Here!!!

Im sitting in the hospital family lounge waiting for Nikki to come out of recovery. She had a beautiful baby girl, 8lbs 8oz. I can't wait to post pictures of her for everyone to see. Congratulations Nikki, I love you!!

EASTER!!!

Happy Easter! We had so much fun this weekend. Saturday night we dyed eggs so the Easter Bunny could hide them for Jonathan in the morning. We tried letting Jonathan drop some of the eggs in the dye, but everytime he got his hands on an egg, he would try and chuck it across the room or smash it on the highchair table! So he just got to sit and watch the rest of the eggs being dyed. Easter morning Jonathan got to search for the eggs the Easter Bunny hid for him. He made sure to hide them in spots where Jonathan would be able to find them. He did such a great job. He found all the eggs! And of course he got spoiled with TONS of toys and Easter baskets!

I had to post this picture. Look at that face! he was starting to throw a fit because daddy wouldn't let him play in the bathroom. You can't read his shirt, but it sums up what he would do to a room he's not supposed to be in. it says, "CAUTION! I WRECK THINGS!"

Jonathan LOVES to play with his little tonka toy cars and trucks. he was trying to show me that he had a truck in this picture.
When he plays with the cars he rolls them on any flat surface he can find and he says, "brrrroooooommm brrrrrroooooommm!" It's so freakin cute!
Giving mommy loves and kisses! isn't he the sweetest little boy.
I can totally see he saying "What sucka?" in this picture! HA HA HA!
He figured out how to put our shoes on and walk around in them. The funny part is when he puts my dressy flats on and walks around the house. hopefully that doesn't become a habit!

Random Stuff

I took some pictures of Jonathan today and thought i would show you all because he's so dang cute!
Jonathan likes to grab Jon's hats and put them on his head like Jon does. I love this picture, he looks so cute, i captured him at the right moment.
Here's Jonathan watching Sesame Street. You might be thinking that whatever is on the tv looks kinda odd, but it's just Mr. Noodle from Elmo's World trying to show elmo how to wrap a present!

Jonathan likes to tell me what sound an animal makes, but he never does it in front of anyone else so im sure people think im crazy when im like "Jonathan, what does a cow say?" and he looks at me like im retarded, but here's proof! I swear, he's a genius! (for some reason the voice doesn't match up with the video and it stops the video early, if you scroll it to the end you can see him shake when he makes the horse sound!

Finally!

So i haven't posted a blog in a while so i thought i'd chit chat for a little bit. I don't have any pictures, i've been so busy with school and working on me since the new year started. im happy to say that i've lost 20lbs since i've started this "self improvement journey" and i can't wait to shed more pounds in the up coming months. Im also happy to say that my best friend Nikki will soon meet her baby girl! Im so excited. She's been so worried that she's not going to be a good mom. but i know she will be fantastic! I keep telling her that no first time mommies ever really know what to do when their new baby comes, but it'll all just come naturally when she see's her brand new baby girl for the first time. Im so excited for her and im so glad she gets to experience motherhood with me and know the joy of being a mother. i love you Nikki!! well i guess i should finish this out, cuz speaking of babies, my little baby boy is screaming his head off cuz he's pissed that im on the computer and not paying attention to him! He's so spoiled!
