Carving Pumpkins!

Say cheese! We're getting ready to carve our pumpkins. This is our first year carving pumpkin's together so this was an exciting event. Even though Jonathan got super bored and I was trying to feed him and keep him occupied during the whole thing, it was still tons of fun! (Kristin, notice my book bag was opened. I was working hard on school stuff this weekend! HeHeHe!)

First things first. We need to wash our pumpkins off. Jon's pumpkin was so dang big it would barely fit in our sink!

Jonathan was bored because he couldn't carve a pumkin, so me and Jon let him have some pumpkin stuff. He loved sucking on it. I didn't want him eating it, but I guess since a pumpkin is a fruit it won't hurt him.

Jon drew his picture onto his pumpkin. He found a picture and drew it just by looking at it. He's such a good artist.

This is my finished pumkin. I thought I did pretty good, don't cha think? (Shhhh...I cheated and used a stencil.)

This is Jon's finished pumpkin. I thought it was pretty cool.

Playing with daddy!

This is why I love the weekends! I get to see Jon and Jonathan playing together. Jon was bench pressing him and he loved it. To me that was just too funny and very picture worthy! Since we both have school and Jon works all day, we only get to see each other maybe 1 hour out of the day. I hate it, but it won't last long like that. He's got 3 more years of school and I'll be done next year! Wahoo!!

Gross!!!

I know this is gross, but i had to post it. He was laughing the whole time his finger was up his nose. I can't believe how far his finger was up there! Half of his finger disappeared into his nose! We all know he doesn't get this from me!

Silly Boy!!

I was cleaning and turned around and couldn't find my son! I looked all around and found him in the entertainment center cabinet! I guess whatever keeps him entertained is fine with me! (Notice that he had to take out the puzzle and scatter the pieces everywhere before he got in there!)

Tagged by Kristin!

5 Things I was doing ten years ago.
1. Following my sister and her friends around thinking I was cool because they were older.
2. Listening to my Backstreet Boys CD and covering my bedroom walls with posters.
3. Working at Hy-Vee as a cashier. OMG! I hated it!!
4. Hanging out with my family on the weekends because I wasn't old enough to drive and stay
out late.
5. Being 14 and not having to worry about anything except for making sure I stay in the "in
crowd" in highschool.

5 Things on my to do list.

1. Buy thank you cards for Jonathan's birthday.
2. Clean the kitchen and mop the floors. 3. Do laundry.

4. Exchange one of Jonathan toys that is missing pieces.

5. Fill out thank you cards and send them out.

5 Things I would do with a million dollars.

1. Put some away for Jonathan's college.

2. Buy a nice house and a family car.

3. Give some to my family.
4. Visit my sister in Maryland.
5. Have a destination wedding in Tahiti or Ireland.

5 Things I would never wear again.

1. I agree with Kristin about the body suits. I used to wear those all the time. What was I thinking???!!!

2. Neon anything! I used to wear neon socks.

3. Jelly shoes. I loved those things, but there's no way I would ever put a pair of jellies on my feet ever again.

4. Bright magenta lipstick. That's all I have to say about that.
5. Glasses with ugly frames and pink tinted lenses. Don't ask.

5 Favorite toys.

1. My computer. Jon hates it when I'm on it!

2. My camera. I like taking pictures of Jonathan.

3. My battery operated pumpkin carver. It's a lot easier to carve cool pictures on my pumpkin
with that than it is with a regular pumkin carver. Weird, I know.

4. My coach purses. I only have 2, but I love them!

5. My son, he's not a toy but I love to play with him when he's not sleeping!

5 Friends I'm tagging.

OK, here's the sad part. I have no blogger friends so I can't tag anybody. I could tag Kristin, but that would be pointless since she tagged me. So sorry, but I'm not tagging anyone.

Vala's Pumpkin Patch!

I was so excited to go to the pumpkin patch this year. Last year, when we went, Jonathan was only 2 weeks old and now he's 1!! I can't wait til next year when he's old enough to understand what a pumpkin patch is!

I wanted Jonathan to ride the ponies so he could actually do something at the pumpkin patch. Most of the stuff there are for kids a little bit more bigger than Jonathan, like age 2 and up. He was a little scared at first, but I was probably more nervous than him. He got used to the big (well big to him) pony he was riding and had fun.
Jon and Jonathan getting ready to ride the choo choo train!!
This is Juli and her boyfriend David and Jonathan's little cousin Jaxon.
This was on the hay rack ride to the pumpkin patch. Jonathan was so tired and distracted, he didn't know what was going on! Sitting next to me is Jonathan's cousin Jimmy

Jonathan's 1st Birthday!

The best parents and grandparents in the universe! They made all this geat food and more and helped me with this party. My wonderful sister helped with eveything too. I'm so greatful for my family. I wouldn't have been able to do this without them.

The tables and tent look so bare! I couldn't use any of my decorations because it was so windy outside!! I had cute balloon bouquets for the center pieces for the tables, but it was so windy the weights wouldn't even hold them down! I had to tie the balloons to the tent poles. I was so upset about that!

Jon and Jonathan's Grandpa Bill hanging out after a huge meal my mom and dad made. They are the best parents in the world. I'm so glad Jonathan has grandparents like them!

He got some cute Tonka toys, but he was attached to the fire truck! At least my mom was interested.

Once he seen this fire truck he was hooked! He did want to play with anything else but the ribbons and his new fire truck!

This is what his cakes looked like before we all got to taste it!!

He didn't know what to think or do with the cake at first. He wasn't sure if he should just play with it or just eat it or both!

After he got a taste of that cake, he was shoving it in his mouth! He just couldn't get enough of it!

This is Jonathan in a traditional Korean outfit. When a baby turns a year old they wear this. You can't really see the outfit cuz he was too busy playing with his new toys to stand still for one second to take a picture!

Jonathan loves fuit so Erica decided to see if he could eat some cantalope. He sure did love it!
